TalePulse — Vietnamese name Hóng Truyện, formerly HÓNG, package com.snapqrify.hong (“the app”) — is an app for listening to, reading and watching Vietnamese audio stories. It is developed and operated by the individual developer Vũ Thị Thúy (“we”), Đại Mỗ, Hanoi, Vietnam, under a personal developer account. This policy covers the app on Android and iOS and the website at hotnovelonline.com.
1. Using the app without an account
You can listen to free episodes and watch Short Videos and the videos of free episodes without signing in. While signed out, the app sends nothing linked to you to our servers beyond what every network connection carries (IP address, device type) — see section 2.

We do not receive or store card or bank details — payments are processed by Google Play or the App Store. The app does not collect location, contacts, photos, microphone, camera or advertising ID, shows no ads, and uses no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
3. Third parties that process data
- Google: sign-in.
- Google Play, Apple App Store: payments, under their own policies.
- Contabo GmbH (Germany), data centre in France: server hosting.
- Cloudflare: content delivery network in front of our servers, forwarding encrypted connections.
We do not sell data and do not share it for advertising. We disclose data to competent authorities only when the law requires it.
4. Storage and security
Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Sign-in sessions use expiring tokens. Links to episode audio and video files are signed for your account and expire after one hour; Short Videos are public promotional content. Data is kept while your account is active. Aggregate data not linked to a person (for example total plays of an episode) may be kept longer.
5. Your rights
- Delete your account in the app (Ví sồi → Xoá tài khoản) or on the web at hotnovelonline.com/delete-account. See section 6.
- To request a copy of your data, correct a wrong birth year, withdraw consent or complain, email info.farvy@gmail.com. We reply within 72 working hours.
6. When you delete your account
Deletion takes effect immediately: Google identifier, email, name, profile photo, birth year, listening history, unlocked episodes and remaining coins are deleted. Signing in again with the same Google account creates a new account. Payment orders and the coin ledger are kept for up to 10 years for accounting and refunds, no longer linked to your name, email or Google account.
7. Age
The app is for people aged 16 and over and is not directed at children. Some stories contain horror elements and carry age labels; 18+ stories are blocked for users whose birth year shows they are under 18. If you know a child has created an account, tell us and we will delete it.
8. Legal basis
We process data under Vietnamese personal data protection law, based on your consent and to perform the service contract.
9. Changes
We announce significant changes in the app and update the effective date at the top of this page.
